A modular M2M computer family

The Aplicom C-series is a family of compact and cost efficient vehicle computers for fleet management and telemetry applications. It can be used as a general purpose embedded vehicle computer for:

• Interconnecting data terminals, vehicle data,
  peripherals, and communication units
• Collecting and reprocessing vehicle data
• Tour recording and collection/reprocessing of operative data
• Automatic vehicle tracing and location by GPS
• Vehicle status supervision
• Alarm functions
• User interfaces with display
• HF telephone functionality

In conjunction with, e.g portable terminals, PDA's and bar code readers, the Aplicom C-series is suitable for many fleet management applications.

Open application platform
The Aplicom C-series is fully programmable using C language and the Aplicom AC Tool Kit or with Java programming tools (Regatta). Aplicom supplies internal GPRS functionality and interfaces for TETRA phones as well as other radio modems.

Versatile interfaces
The Aplicom C-series provides a fully programmable hardware platform for various applications and an extensive set of peripheral and sensor interfaces to vehicle electronics and peripheral devices. You can also connect it to portable tablet PC or other portable device. WLAN connectivity is also available.

Reliable in operation
The rugged design of the Aplicom C-series has been developed around the vehicle environment requirements of leading truck manufacturers. The Aplicom C-series has a robust aluminium profile housing with plastic ends. All connectors are located in the rear panel for easy installation.

In addition to its reliability the Aplicom C-series is future-proof because of its modular and scaleable platform architecture. It also supports over the air software updates that makes the maintenance of the fleet management system easy and cost-efficient.
